How I Made It My Own

Inspired by recent events, I wanted to talk about who benefits from current policies by illustrating the ideal of the American dream. According to policy makers, the ideal is still the same as it was 20 years ago. I wanted to experiment with shape relationships for this project. Ale Giorgini, an Italian based Illustrator, is the perfect example shape relationship mastery. Using single line to create many shapes, I made an illustration of the "American Family". I used the year 1968 because of my newly found love of history and reading Time magazine.
